What data we collect and why

Enquiries and quote requests

If you fill in the request form on the Contact page, you leave us your name, email, phone number (optional), the dates of your stay, your preferred accommodation and a message. We use these details only to reply and prepare the proposal you asked for: the request reaches our mailbox and an internal notification, nothing more. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.

Browsing statistics

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how. The data is pseudonymous and does not allow us to identify you directly; how these cookies work and how to refuse them is explained in the Cookie Policy.

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address only to send it to you. Subscription requires your explicit consent and is completed in two steps (double opt-in): after signing up you receive a confirmation email, and only by clicking the link inside does the subscription become active. You can withdraw your consent at any time: every email contains an unsubscribe link, or you can simply write to us. Once you withdraw, you will not receive anything further.

No address is ever subscribed automatically: filling in the quote request form does not add you to the newsletter. We do not profile you and we make no automated decisions about your data.

Who we entrust data to

To run the website we rely on a few technical providers, who process data on our behalf and under our instructions:

Vercel, which hosts the website;
Google, for Google Analytics statistics (see the Cookie Policy);
Resend, the service we use to send the newsletter, which keeps the subscriber list on servers in the European Union.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone for third-party marketing.

How long we keep data

Information and quote requests: for as long as it takes to handle them and any stay that follows. Your newsletter address: for as long as you remain subscribed; when you withdraw, it is removed from the mailing list.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it or object to its processing. An email to villavacanzevalentina@gmail.com is enough — we answer personally, no complicated forms. If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with your local supervisory authority.
