La Casetta degli Innamorati — the Lovers' Cottage — was created for couples looking for something different. Not a hotel, not a B&B: a cottage all your own, set apart from the villa, with a private garden just for you. All around, the big garden and the pool shared with the other guests, and the peace of Tuscia.
Your own bathroom just inside, coffee under the porch in your own garden in the morning, a swim as the sun goes down. Moments you will never forget. One caveat: we cannot accept pets in the cottage.

Pets: we cannot host them in the cottage. In the two apartments in the villa yes — one pet per apartment, with a €15 per day supplement.
Three independent accommodations — two apartments for up to 4 guests and the cottage for two: garden, pool and outdoor kitchen are shared. Stefano's parents live here too and keep everything in order.

One warm, wooden open space: the double bed, a living corner with sofa and TV, the coffee station and a private bathroom with shower. Outside, a covered porch with a table for dining al fresco and, in front of it, the garden with a stone path leading to the pool.
The cottage sits in the villa's greenery, a few steps from the pool yet tucked away enough to feel completely alone. In the evening the lanterns light up among the trees along with the porch lights: the atmosphere you see in the photos is even better in person. And when you feel like exploring, the whole Tuscia is around you — Bomarzo, Civita di Bagnoregio, the Popes' thermal baths.

Will we have the whole villa to ourselves?
Let us be clear from the start: no. Villa Vacanze Valentina has three independent accommodations — two apartments (up to 4 people each) and the Lovers' Cottage (2 people), and the garden and pool are shared. Enzo and his wife, Stefano's parents, also live on the property: they are the reason everything is always in order and someone is really there to welcome you. For a day of exclusive use, just ask — we can look into it.
Can I bring my dog or cat?
Not to the Cottage: it is the only accommodation where we cannot accept pets. In the two apartments in the villa yes — one pet per apartment, with a €15 per day supplement: just tell us when you book.
Is the Lovers' Cottage really just for couples?
Yes. It is an independent hideaway designed exclusively for 2 guests: it stands apart from the villa and has its own private garden, shared with no one. The large garden, the pool and the outdoor kitchen are shared with the other two accommodations. The perfect choice for a romantic getaway in the Tuscia countryside.
Does it have a private bathroom?
Yes: the cottage has its own indoor bathroom with shower, entirely yours. By the pool there is also an open-air shower, shared with the other guests of the villa.
Is there air conditioning?
Yes, the cottage is fully climate-controlled: cool on the hottest summer days and heated whenever needed. Inside you will also find a TV and a coffee corner.
Is breakfast included?
Served breakfast is not included: the cottage has a coffee corner with capsules and something packaged for the first morning. The table under the porch is yours, and there is a bar in the village a few minutes away.
Where exactly is the cottage?
In the garden of Villa Vacanze Valentina in Bassano in Teverina (Viterbo): the Monster Park of Bomarzo is 10 minutes away, Viterbo 25, Rome about an hour. The A1 motorway exit at Orte is a quarter of an hour away.
Can we cook in the cottage?
Inside there is a breakfast corner with a fridge and a microwave, not a full kitchen. For cooking there is the outdoor kitchen in the garden, with the barbecue, shared between the three accommodations: that is where summer dinners are made. Village restaurants are a few minutes away.
