Three independent accommodations — two apartments for up to 4 guests and the cottage for two: garden, pool and outdoor kitchen are shared. Stefano's parents live here too and keep everything in order.
The bedrooms, the kitchen,
the everyday things
Each apartment has two bedrooms, each with a double or a small double bed. In the kitchen you will find a fridge, a hob and a dishwasher. Linen for the first day is included; if you need a change during your stay, ask us in advance. The Wi-Fi reaches the whole property, garden included. There is no air conditioning, and not by oversight: the apartments stay cool on their own all year round. For rubbish there is a handy corner near the entrance: leave your bags there and Stefano's parents take care of the rest.
A real home,
not a hotel room.
Each apartment has its own independent entrance, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with sofa; one of the two has a fireplace, which makes all the difference in spring and autumn. The bedrooms are furnished in rustic style, with linen included, heating and Wi-Fi. In summer they stay cool by themselves, with no need for air conditioning.
Right outside the door: the 3,000 m² garden, the pool with sun loungers, the stone barbecue and parking inside the property. Kids get space to run around safely; you get a shaded gazebo and the silence of the Tuscia countryside. For trip ideas, the surroundings are full of wonders less than an hour away.
In winter,
the fireplace
The villa is open all year round. All the accommodations have radiators, and one of the two apartments has a real, working fireplace: the firewood is included. If it matters to you, tell us when you book. The pool closes in mid-October and reopens in mid-May. In the colder months Tuscia is visited at a different pace: Viterbo is 25 minutes away, the beech forest of Monte Cimino 30, Lake Vico 40. In the evening you come back, cook, and light the fire.

between Viterbo and Rome
The apartments are in Bassano in Teverina, in the province of Viterbo, in Tuscia. The A1 motorway exit at Orte is 15 minutes away, Rome one hour. All around, in under half an hour: the Monster Park of Bomarzo 10 minutes away, Vitorchiano 15, Villa Lante in Bagnaia 20, Viterbo 25. A little further, Lake Bolsena at 40 and Civita di Bagnoregio at 45. Your car comes into the property and stays in the internal car park, free of charge.
Arrival, departure,
a few rules
Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out by 10 am. If you need a different time it can be arranged in advance, for an extra charge. We ask for no deposit, and in Bassano in Teverina there is no tourist tax. If you book through our website, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before arrival. Pets are welcome, one per apartment, with a daily supplement: just tell us when you book. The pool, the large garden and the outdoor kitchen are shared with the guests of the other apartment and of the cottage for two.

Will we have the whole villa to ourselves?
Let us be clear from the start: no. Villa Vacanze Valentina has three independent accommodations — two apartments (up to 4 people each) and the Lovers' Cottage (2 people), and the garden and pool are shared. Enzo and his wife, Stefano's parents, also live on the property: they are the reason everything is always in order and someone is really there to welcome you. For a day of exclusive use, just ask — we can look into it.
How many people can sleep in the apartments?
Each apartment has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 4. For larger groups you can take both apartments: message us on WhatsApp and we will find the right combination for your dates.
Is the kitchen fully equipped?
Yes, each apartment has its own complete kitchen: fridge, hob, dishwasher and everything you need to cook on your own — the freedom of a real home, with no restaurant timetables.
Is the pool included in the stay?
Yes. The outdoor pool, the 3,000 m² garden, the gazebos and the stone barbecue are available to all villa guests at no extra cost. The pool is open from mid-May to mid-October, 8 am to 10 pm.
Is there parking?
Yes, ample free parking inside the property: your car stays safe behind the gate.
Is it suitable for families with children?
It is what we do best: independent spaces, a large fenced garden to play freely, the pool and the table tennis. Families who come once usually come back.
Are pets allowed?
Yes — one pet per apartment, with a daily supplement: we ask you to let us know when you book. In the Cottage, however, we cannot accept them.
Is there air conditioning?
No. The apartments stay cool on their own even at the height of summer, thanks to the way they are built: there is no need for it. In winter there are radiators. The only accommodation with air conditioning is the Lovers' Cottage.
Is it true there is a fireplace?
Yes, in one of the two apartments: a real, working fireplace, and the firewood is included. Ask us when you book and we will assign you that apartment, if it is free on your dates.
What time are check-in and check-out?
In the apartments, check-in is from 3 pm and check-out by 10 am. Early arrivals and late departures can be arranged in advance, for an extra charge: write to us and we will see together what is possible.
Is linen included?
Yes: sheets and towels for the first day are included. A change of linen during your stay is not included and must be requested well in advance: if you think you will need one, tell us when you book.
Does the Wi-Fi reach the garden?
Yes. The network covers the whole property: the apartments, the cottage and the garden. Anyone who needs to work for a few hours, or put a cartoon on for the children, can do so outdoors too.
