The two apartments in the villa each have their own entrance, a full kitchen — fridge, hob, dishwasher — and two bedrooms where a family of four is comfortable. Linen, heating and Wi-Fi are all there, as in a real home; in summer they stay cool by themselves.
Outside, the garden does the rest: three thousand square metres of lawn and olive trees, the pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, gazebos for the shade and a masonry barbecue for long summer dinners. Family pets are welcome in the apartments — one per apartment, with a daily supplement (not in the cottage for couples).
The apartments,
room by room
Each apartment has two bedrooms, each with a double or a small double bed: four places in all. The kitchen is complete, with fridge, hob and dishwasher, so the children's meals follow their own timetable rather than a restaurant's. There is a cot and a high chair, but they must be requested before arrival: tell us when you book. Children small enough to sleep in the bed with their parents do not pay and do not count towards the four places. There is no air conditioning: the apartments stay cool on their own, even in summer. In winter there are radiators and, in one of the two, a real fireplace.
The pool and the garden,

The large garden is 3,000 m² and fenced: the children have room to run around without leaving the property. There is a table-tennis table, and your car stays in the car park inside. The pool is open from mid-May to mid-October, 8 am to 10 pm, with sun loungers around it. It is shared by the three accommodations in the villa: your children may well find other children to play with, and it is only fair to know that it is not a pool for exclusive use. After a swim, the open-air shower is right by the pool.

The Monster Park of Bomarzo is the day out children remember: a wood of enormous sculptures where getting lost is part of the fun. Forty minutes away is Lake Bolsena with its freshwater beaches, plus the villages of Tuscia — including the fairy-tale town painted wall to wall. Rome is an hour away: there and back in a day, without big-city stress.
In the evening you come home: in summer, kids in the pool until sunset, grown-ups at the barbecue. That's the right rhythm for a family holiday.
Two families together,
in the Lazio countryside
The two apartments are in the same villa, side by side. For two families of friends, or for grandparents, children and grandchildren, it is the simplest arrangement: everyone has their own kitchen and bedrooms, and you meet up in the garden. Up to four guests per apartment. In the evening there is the outdoor kitchen with the masonry barbecue, shared with all the guests of the villa. If a couple is travelling with you too, the Lovers' Cottage is on the same property, set apart, for two. We are in northern Lazio, in the province of Viterbo, an hour from Rome: tell us how many you are and we will tell you how to fit everyone in.

Are the apartments suitable for families with children?
Yes: each apartment in the villa has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 4. Its own entrance, a full kitchen and spaces that are yours alone: the little ones have room to play, the grown-ups room to rest.
How many people can sleep here?
It depends on the combination of rooms: write to us on WhatsApp with your dates and the size of your group, and we'll suggest the best solution. For larger groups the two apartments can be booked together.
Are the pool and garden included?
Yes. The outdoor pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, the 3,000-square-metre garden, the gazebos and the masonry barbecue are available to all guests of the villa, at no extra cost: they are shared by the three accommodations, and the pool is open from mid-May to mid-October, from 8 am to 10 pm.
What is there to do nearby with children?
The Monster Park of Bomarzo — a wood of giant stone sculptures that feels like an enchanted world to children — is ten minutes away by car. Then Lake Bolsena for an afternoon of freshwater beaches, the villages with fairy-tale murals like Sant'Angelo di Roccalvecce, and Rome an hour away for a day trip to the city.
Do you have a cot and a high chair?
Yes, we have both, but they must be requested before arrival: they are not already in the apartment. Tell us when you book, with the child's age, and we will have them ready for you.
Do small children pay?
Children small enough to sleep in the bed with their parents do not pay and do not count towards the apartment's capacity, which is four guests. For every other case, write to us with the ages: we answer in person.
Is the pool just for our family?
No. It is shared by the three accommodations in the villa: the two apartments and a cottage for two. It is open from mid-May to mid-October, 8 am to 10 pm, and is included in the stay, like the fenced 3,000 m² garden.
Is there air conditioning in the apartments?
No. The apartments stay cool on their own, even at the height of summer, thanks to the way they are built. The only accommodation with air conditioning is the Lovers' Cottage. In winter all the accommodations are heated with radiators.
Is there a deposit or a tourist tax?
No: we ask for no deposit, and in Bassano in Teverina there is no tourist tax. If you book through our website, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before arrival. With children, knowing you can cancel helps.
